Our client is an important global industrial group with different divisions spread all over the world. For one division we have a very exciting HR position for an experienced HR Manager as HR generalist who has also a solid background in Organizational Development.
Duties:
At the side of a Vice President HR who runs a divisional HRM with all HR aspects on a global scale you have the chance to develop with your generalistic HR & OD background of five to seven years all relevant OD strategies and processes. You are also involved in other HR topic where you can help to build a state-of-the-art HRM for this fast growing division.
- Manage Organizational Development (OD) strategies and processes; assess the organizational development needs of operating, business and functional units
- Lead the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet business needs and program goals
- Design and execute key programmatic elements of the OD process
- Evaluate strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals
- Assist with the provision of expert facilitation and coaching to supervisors and managers regarding OD methods and tools
- Manage the individual development planning process for executives and emerging leaders
- Provide consultative services to the business units regarding mentoring
- Plan and lead short- and long-term planning for OD programs
- Prepare budgetary recommendations that meet departmental goals and provide for effective management of resources
- Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
- Modify programs as needed
- Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. Develop trainer development programs and coach others involved in training efforts, providing effective growth and development opportunities
- Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget. Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff
- Prepared to take on ordinary HR generalist tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor / Master degree in Business (specialization in HRM is welcome)
• 5-7 years of relevant HR / OD experience within international large companies
• Excellent presentation skills
• English language skills
• Need to be able to travel
It will be important for you to speak English perfectly and ideally speak also German. The international experience in your past generalistic HR experience is also very important. You don’t have to have been a team leader in the past but the generalistic HR experience in an international environment with also a solid OD experience is an absolute Imust. This is a very interesting challenge for a very motivated HR Manager around 35/40 years old who would like to take the next step in his HR career.
